Apple & Fir Simmer Pot
Apple & Fir Simmer Pot
Simmer Pots are a fragrance oil free and essential oil free way to enjoy holiday scents. They are only made with dried fruit, herbs, and spices.
I made this blend with a sophisticated combination of fragrant spearmint, peppermint, cinnamon, juniper berries and fir needles and sprigs. The apples and cranberries provide a bit of sweetness to balance out the herbaceous base. This is a brisk, brightening scent that will bring a bit of the winter into your warm house.
Ingredients: local apples, backyard fir sprigs, cranberries, cinnamon, juniper berries, peppermint, rose, fennel, spearmint, rosemary, eucalyptus
Net Weight: 1.7oz
Directions:
Pour contents into a medium pot and remove moisture absorber packet. Fill pot half to three quarters full of water and place on stove top on medium heat. Once herbs become fragrant, reduce heat to maintain a low simmer. Keep pot 50-75% filled with water.
Best started 30 minutes before guests arrive. Best scent lasts 3-4 hours.
